The opportunity

The escape room and mystery experience market has grown sharply in Southeast Asia. Unsolved Addresses takes the concept further: a multi-day residential stay that groups rent out entirely, with unlockable amenities and a layered mystery built into the architecture itself.

A gap in the market

Weekend rental properties in the Philippines compete on views and amenities. None compete on narrative. Unsolved Addresses is the first property in the country designed around a mystery guests must actively solve over the course of their stay.

Recurring, scalable revenue

The model is a fully exclusive weekend rental. One group per booking, premium pricing, and a replayable mystery structure that supports multiple location rollouts under the same brand without cannibalizing each other.

Strong word-of-mouth dynamics

Solving a mystery with people you care about is inherently shareable. The unlock mechanic and the gift bag reward create natural social media moments that drive organic reach at every booking.

A defensible concept

The architecture, the lore, and the puzzle design are all original. Each Unsolved Addresses location carries its own story, making the brand difficult to replicate and easy to extend across new properties and new mysteries.

The pilot: a house with a secret

Each Kinobee location runs on its own lore. The Baras pilot is built around this story.

Built in the 1980s

A private couple raised these walls by hand. They kept to themselves, let no one in, and built a gothic home far up the mountain where the quiet suited them.

Then, nothing

One day the couple was simply gone. No one knows how, why, or even when. No goodbye, no trace, no record of anyone coming or going since.

And yet

The house has stayed pristine. Spotless rooms, tended grounds, every lock still holding. Cared for to this day by hands no one has seen. Guests arrive to find the whole thing waiting, and most of it sealed. The mystery belongs to whoever is willing to earn it.

03

How the unlock system works
